APPLICATIONS
The cleaning of soiled cutlery, especially in case of dried on leftovers, is extremely laborious and time, personnel and cost intensive. With standard dishwashing technology, a clean and stainless cleaning of cutlery can in most cases not be achieved or only with high efforts.
AN INNOVATIVE SOLUTION
Walther Trowal, having been specialist in the field of surface treatment, developed the hydro-mechanic 3-step process, which cleans rinses and disinfects cutlery parts of each kind, from teaspoon to ladle and dries and polishes them in only one cycle. This is achieved with little manpower and best possible savings of energy and compound.
The smallest machine applying this process is the BRA 1200 with a cleaning and drying performance of 1200 cutlery parts per hour. It is suited for large quantities of soiled cutlery. Our medium size and our largest machine applying this process are the BRA 1600 and BRA 2500 with a cleaning and drying performance of 1500 resp. 2500 cutlery parts per hour. These machines are also suites for extreme quantities of soiled cutlery.
HYDRO-MECHANIC 3-STEP PROCESS
1. step: Cleaning of cutlery
In the washing bin, the soiled cutlery is - without laborious preliminary treatment - cleaned mechanically within a vibrating mass of polishing media. The specially developed dishwashing detergent trowaclean BRS 20 lifts off leftovers and pollution, which are then simply discharged with the rinsing water. Depending on the degree of pollution, the cleaning time can be adjusted individually. The trowaclean BRS 20 was especially developed for the use at temperatures below 40°C and hence permits an energy saving and environmentally friendly cleaning at ambient temperature. Even encrusted leftovers are removed safely and without residues in only one cycle.
2. step: Disinfection and rinsing of cutlery
The cleaned cutlery coming from the washing bin are now automatically transferred into the rinsing system, where they are rinsed and disinfected with fresh water. The cutlery is then already optically and hygienically clean.
3. step: Drying and polishing of cutlery
The wet cutlery slides from the rinsing system into the drier and travel through a spiral shaped work bowl, which is filled with heated and sterile drying granulate. Completely housed by the drying media, it is gently dried and polished. In the separation zone, the cutlery is separated from the drying granulate and falls into the provided cutlery basket. By means of the "hot spot" within the drier, the granulate is punctually heated to more than 130°C and hence kept sterile.
YOUR ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE
REFURBISHMENT OF CUTLERY
Due to continuous use, cutlery parts get an unattractive appearance, they show scratches and grooves, lime, rust and corrosion stains can in many cases no more be removed. Cost intensive new investment is required, if parts of the cutlery have to be exchanged. With the Trowal paste process, a method, which has been used for decades to polish parts of industrial production, cutlery and even kitchen equipment made of stainless steel and silver (candle holders, napkin holders etc) can be refurbished. A special grinding powder removes, in combination with water and polishing media, all stains from the cutlery, eliminates scratches and levels grooves. All parts are high gloss polished. The service life of cutlery is hence increased considerably!
